Rental Terms & Cleaning Agreement

Rental Rules

During your stay please feel free to call 503 949-2876 with any questions.


1.  CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 4 P.M. PST AND CHECK OUT IS 11 A.M. PST.   Early Check-ins or Late Check-outs must be arranged prior to arrival
2.  This is a NON SMOKING cabin. 

3.  Pets are permitted in rental cabins only with prior approval.  All pets must be leashes at all times.  Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up of any/all pet refuse.  Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time.  Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees.  All pets must be up to date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations.  Heartworm preventive is highly recommended.  All pets are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival.  Fleas and tick can cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets.  All items above are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. The cabin owners assume no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises. 

4.  RESERVATION DEPOSIT- A reservation deposit of $250 is required. This must be received at time of booking the reservation.  The credit card number will be held on file until the following can be confirmed.
a.    No damage is done to cabin or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b.    No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
c.     Cleaning tasks are completed prior to departure as described in the guest cleaning list on-site

        and attached to this e-mail.
d.    All keys are left in the lock box and cabin is left locked.
e.    All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
f.    No linens are lost or damaged.
5.  PAYMENT OF RENT is due one half  (60) days before your arrival date or at time of reservation if stay is within (60) days with remaining due thirty days prior to stay.
6.  CANCELLATIONS: A thirty (60) day notice is required for cancellation.  Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, or that are made within thirty (60) days of the arrival date, forfeit the full damage/reservation deposit or fifty percent (50%) of the rental charges, whichever is greater. There is a $50 cancellation fee if cancelled more than sixty (60) days prior.

7.  MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests per cabin is limited to ten (10) persons.  An additional charge or $5.00 per person per night for guests in addition to ten (10) will be assessed.
8.  Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than two days, the guest will be charged an additional $30 fee.
9.  INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate.
10.  NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the cabin, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring your own beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the cabins.
11.  RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice.
12.  FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
13.  WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
14.  PELLET STOVE:  The pellet stove has specific operating instructions which are posted on the stove.  Additional pellets are stored under the guest bed and in the bike shed.  All instructions must be followed and stove must not be left unattended. 

15.  STORM POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS:  No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained, however we do not refund due to road conditions.

16.  HOT TUB/SPA:  The hot tub is to be used at your own risk.  There is no life guard on duty.  Please consult your doctor for specific health risks that are inherent to the use of HOT TUBS AND SPA’S.  Chlorine is used in this HOT TUB.  All persons should shower before and after use.  We use granular chlorine.  We provide the granules on site and ask that you toss approximately ˝ of a capful into the tub after each use.

17.  SEPTIC:  These cabins are on septic systems. 

 

The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed.  DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper.  No feminine products should be flushed at anytime.  If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clogs the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to two hundred dollars ($200).

 

19.    GROUNDS SAFETY:  The cabin sits on a hill side.  No person should approach the edge of a retaining wall as serious injury or death may result from falls.  No person should stand on, or lean against deck railings.  The paths around the cabin and to the lake can be slick and contain loose footing, use at your own risk.  Fires must be kept in the fire pit area and be kept to a safe and reasonable size.  Fires must be fully extinguished and never left unattended.  There is no lifeguard at the lake, all swimming or other activities are done at your own risk.  All caution should be taken during your stay for your own safety and the safety of your party. 

 

 

Remember, this cabin is a special place that many people enjoy visiting.  Please respect the property.  The renter is responsible for any and all damage that they or a member of their party may cause. 

 

I hereby give permission to charge my credit card for the amounts above. I agree that all rental monies are non-refundable per cancellation policy above. I have read my rights to purchase travel insurance.  By Signing Below, I agree to all terms and conditions of this agreement.

Cleaning Instructions

 

 

Strip all used bed linens.

Empty all Garbage Cans.

Start the Dishwasher.

Start a load of towels in the washing machine.
